Its was tough, but the mission was to beat the tough. We woke up early in the morning and reached the Mysore sub urban bus stand @4:50 Am to catch the bus to gonikoppal which was to departure at 5:00 am. But you know there were few guys who has an habit to reach at their usual time :). We requested the bus driver to wait for few minutes, and every on made for the bus some how.
The bus started to gonikoppla at 5:15 am. It was pleasant morning, cool air from the windows was wiping out morning undone sleep away. We reached gonikoppla, and the bus to srimangala was already ready.
So all of us placed our bags in the bus for reserving the seats. Our mates Balaji and Vijay sacrificed :) there breakfast to hold the seats in the bus and allowed rest of us to have breakfast in near by hotel and come back. We took parcel of our south Indian special idle for both and returned already the engine of the bus was roaring to leave. We all entered and the bus started to srimangla. It was early morning and on the way we could see mountains covered with misty clouds. It was all exiting us and we reached srimangala by 9:00 am. There we paid the fees to RFO and got the necessary permits to move ahead.
From Srimangala we hired a tempo to irpu which has a open trailer with no seats and covering. We were all standing holding the side bars a were cheering enjoying the view of srimangala forests. By the time we reached it was hot sun was out and we were all tiered. The lunch was ordered, we rested till the time it got ready. We got it packed and put in our bags. We headed towards Irpu, it was around 0.5 walk up hill to reach irup. By the time we reached irpu the soaring sun drawn our energy, looking at the fall most of us ran and stood beolw the falls. OOh it was bliss under the cool chilling falls.
